The Yorta Yorta Traditional Owner Land Management Board (YYTOLMB) was appointed pursuant to the Victorian Government’s Traditional Owner Land Management Agreement (TOLMA) made with the Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation (YYNAC) in 2010.
The YYTOLMB then became operational in August 2013, the key role of the YYTOLMB is:
To enable the knowledge and culture of the Yorta Yorta people to be recognised and incorporated into the management of Barmah National Park through the carrying out by the Board of its functions, powers and duties.
